Abstract
With the continuous expansion of open-pit mining scale and the continuous improvement of automation level in our country, the belt conveyor, as the core transportation equipment in the semi-continuous process chain, its reasonable selection has a decisive impact on the overall efficiency, energy consumption control and operational reliability of the system. In view of the special working conditions of Baorixile Open-pit Coal Mine, such as large temperature differences, significant terrain undulations, long transportation distances and the need for frequent relocation, The traditional general selection method is difficult to meet the requirements of efficient, stable and low-consumption operation of the system. Based on an in-depth investigation of the geology, climate and production demands of the mining area, this paper takes Baorixile Open-pit Coal Mine as the research object, and combines the topography and environmental characteristics of the mining area to systematically analyze the running resistance and longitudinal section layout of the belt conveyor. The key issues of coordination, including the undulating sections across the waste dump, maintaining clear passage, and the convenience of future relocation, have been resolved. Based on the principles of adaptability, advancement, economy, safety and ease of maintenance, a selection scheme for the conveying line is proposed. The researches show that the optimized conveying system can ensure efficient and stable operation under complex terrain conditions and meet the current and future production demands of the mining area.
