Abstract
In the due diligence process for mining investment and mergers and acquisitions, mining rights constitute the core assets of mining enterprises. As the top priority of the work, the due diligence of mining rights is particularly crucial, especially regarding the authenticity of mineral resource reserves and grades. Resource reserves are one of the core economic indicators for judging the development and utilization value of mineral resources, and are an important factor determining the success or failure of investment and merger and acquisition transactions. Mineral resources are usually hidden underground, and their concealment determines the uncertainty of mineral resource reserves. Therefore, resource reserve risk is an important risk in mining investment and mergers and acquisitions transactions. In recent years, this paper has collaborated with a lead-zinc mining enterprise that temporarily encountered financial difficulties through mineral product trade over a certain period. By monitoring the mine’s production and operation dynamics through mineral product trade, the author has gained insights into the mine’s production progress, actual ore output, selected ore grade, concentrate powder, and mineral processing recovery rate, providing a basis for future mining rights mergers and acquisitions.
