    Application of high steep coal seam structural replication in coalbed methane drilling: a case study of Baicheng Central District of Kubai Coal Mine

    • The purpose of this study is to use structural replication technology to truly restore the complex underground coal mine environment, provide precise support for coalbed methane drilling operations, improve the safety level of resource development, and maintain economic and social benefits. In the process of research, the basic information, tectonic characteristics and stratigraphic characteristics of Baicheng Central District of Kubai Coal Mine are analyzed, the application target of high steep coal seam structural replication is determined, data is collected, models are constructed, and solid models and borehole models are built based on the structure, so as to assist in optimizing the design and deployment of coalbed methane drilling and promoting coalbed methane drilling operations in an orderly manner. Through this study, the unique value of structural replication technology in coalbed methane drilling under the complex environment of high steep coal seams is verified, the exploration of the main coal reservoir in the mining area is deepened.
