TEST OF MANUFACTURING WALL AND FLOOR TILES USING GOLD ORE TAILINGS AS RAW MATERIAL

The comparison of traditional raw material with gold ore tailings shows that the latter after purification treatment can be used as raw material instead of good quality falspar for manufacturing of qualified wall and floor tiles.Purification treatment of gold ore tailings is composed of spiral classification(gravity separation),low-intensity magnetic separetion,high-intensity magnetic separation,floation.After iron and sulphur contents in the tailings are sufficiently reduced,the test of low-temperature and quick roasting using tailings as raw material to produce tiles has been successfully conducted on tile production line.
