    Comparison study on controlled blasting technology with energy gathering pipe and smooth blasting in middle-hard rock laneway

    • In rock excavation,a well laneway profile can be formed by a better peripheral blasting techniques,which could reduce the latter costs both in the support and maintenance,as well as the damage impact to the surrounding rock,and enhance the stability of surrounding rock,which is generally realized through smooth blasting technology with intensive drilling and less charging.To reduce the quantity of blast holes,and ensure the laneway profile,controlled blasting technology with energy gathering pipe is adopted in this paper,through using theoretical analysis and combined with field tests,smooth blasting and controlled blasting with energy gathering pipe are studied.Results show that:through optimizing blasting parameters,controlled blasting techniques with energy gathering pipe are better in breaking rock on laneway profile than ordinary smooth blasting,and formed a better laneway profile,which reducing the total charge,as well as the quantity of blast holes by increasing the space between surrounding holes,and rising the driving speed of laneway.
