Experimental research on pre-separation of a lean vanadium-containing titanomagnetite ore

Process mineralogical characteristics about a lean vanadium-titanium magnetite ore(TFe 20.49%, TiO₂10.31%) are resumed. Technological conditions of the pre-separation integrated pilot are determined by condition tests and a pilot-proof test is conducted A pre-separation concentrate is obtained with the yield of 68.12%, the grade TFe of 26.42% and TiO₂ of 13.62%, and recoveries of TFe, TiO₂ are 86.70%, 89.62%.
