Major ore resources and mining investment environment in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Republic of Uzbekistan is rich in ore resources, with its reserve of gold, uranium, copper, rock salt and potassium salt, etc., ranking front globally, as well as the reserve of oil and gas resource s ranking front in Middle Asia. This paper gives an introduction to its major ore resources, geological works, mine managerial authorities, mineral properties, mining taxes and investment policy, and also analyzes its pros and cons in mining sector and presents suggestions for Chinese mining investors.
