    Application of high pressure spray dust removal system in full-mechanized caving face in Xingdong mine

    • With the continuous improvement of the level of mechanization,there is more and more dust quantity in fully mechanized caving face in Xingdong Mine,and there has beening high dust concentration in the workplace,which causes serious harm to the physical and mental health of the employees and major hidden danger of Mine Safety Production.By analyzing the variation of dust movement in fully mechanized caving face in Xingdong Mine under different conditions,the high pressure spray dust removal system of fully mechanized working face is designed .After the use of the dust removal system,the average total dust removal efficiency can reach more than 85% in coal cutting with the shearer,respirable dust collection efficiency can reach more than 75%;the average total dust removal efficiency can reach more than 88% in advancing support and roof caving and respirable dust collection efficiency can reach more than 77%;the total dust removal efficiency can reach 98% and respirable dust collection efficiency reaches 95% at 5m off the wind direction from the water curtain of the return airway.Application of high pessure spray dust removal system in full-mechanized caving face in Xingdong mine has obtained good effect in pevention of dust.
