SWOT analysis on China Shenhua energy's internationalization

As an integrated energy company covering coal, power, railway and ports, China Shenhua has enjoyed rapid growth in domestic market and is now considered the locomotive of China’s coal sector. The internationalization of China Shenhua is in line with state policies while conducive to company’s aspiration to grow stronger. As compared with other international mining giants, China Shenhua is as yet new in the global market. This paper tries to cast light into the international environment that China Shenhua is involved in while make in-depth analysis on the company’score competitiveness and disadvantages. With SWOT analysis, this paper hopes to provide a basic knowledge platform to bolster the company’s internationalization efforts.
