Analysis of tin resources security in China

China was one of the biggest tin resources country, and also the biggest tin ore producer in the world. From 2007 china has turned into the second biggest tin resource import country, our country tin resource advantages has lost gradually. Tin is a strategic emerging mineral recourses, its security is very important to emerging industry in China. This article based on analyzing the global tin resources situation and status of supply and demand briefly, predicts the global demand for tin resource. This article also analyzes four problems of our country's tin resources security: ①speedy tin resources consuming; ②increasing external dependency; ③low resources recycling; ④the level of tin industry is low. Finally, this article gives four countermeasures and suggestions aiming at these problems: 1strengthening the domestic tin ore exploration; ②encouraging tin ore resources of "going out"; ③strengthening the secondary resource recycling; ④promoting tin industrial structure.
