Sustainable concordant development of mineral resources cities becomes the essential guarantee for China to construct harmonious society

Constructing socialist harmonious society becomes the supreme goal of the 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China (16th NCCPC), especially CPC`s Fourth Plenary Session of The Sixteenth Central Committee, which symbolized that China stepped into a totally new developing stage emphasizing on sustainable development. So in the background of constructing harmonious society, how to realize the sustainable development of mineral resources cities in different respects such as resources, economics, systems and environment, becomes one of the very important issues for current mineral resources cities. This paper started from the perspective of constructing harmonious society, analyzed some inharmonious problems current mineral resources cities faced in the process of development, discussed some strategic methods to realize the sustainable concordant development for China's mineral resources cities, and expounded specifically the actions to carry them out in details.
