THE SURVIVAL CRISIS AND ROUTE CHOICE OF MINING RESOURCED-BASED TOWNS——BASED ON AN CONSUMERISM'S PERSPECTIVE

Consumerism's perspective gives us a useful trial for analyzing the survival condition of mining resources-based towns.ln this thesis,the author thinks consumerism can stimulate economy development in some degree,while it also worsen the survival crisis of mining resources-based towns and limit its sustainable development for the resource plights,ecology and human crisis.So,abandoning consumerism and taking an active part in carrying out sustainable consumption will be inevitable choice of mining resources-based towns.
