Research on the increasing production of big scale graphite

This paper is aiming at increasing the big scale graphite production of the current graphite flotation technology.The key to higher big scale production is to decrease losses of liberated graphite scales in the process.The current flotation technology can protect big scales effectively, but it still has the defect of liberated big scale losses due to overgrinding.To overcome this shortcoming, this paper has proposed a new idea of exploiting the flotation speed difference to increase the production of big scale graphite, and proposed a new flotation technology accordingly.It is found that the new technology can increase the production of plus mesh 50 and plus mesh 100 in the graphite concentrate by 12.33% and 6.63% respectively, comparing with current technology.The new technology can also increase the recovery and grade of the concentrate.The test data can provide some reference for the flotation practice of scale graphite to increase production of big scale graphite.
