    The state of the comprehensive utilization of Skarn-type deposits tailings

    • Skarn-type deposits are the main types of iron,copper,lead,zinc,silver,molybdenum,tungsten,tin,and other multiple deposits.This type of deposits is most co-associated minerals deposit,and the metal mineral compositions are complex;non-metallic mineral garnet,wollastonite,diopside,tremolite,etc.most have industrial value.In this article,through summarizing the skarn-type deposit and its tailings' characteristics,industrial value and comprehensive utilization state,clarifying that the comprehensive recycling of trace metals in skarn-type deposit tailings and large number of non-metallic minerals compositing the skarn can improve economic efficiency,decrease tailings quantity,reduce tailings hazards.We suggested that the relevant departments to select a typical deposit types,typical minerals to carry out the comprehensive utilization research.
