Duality of gold mineralization and guiding significance

Duality of gold mineralization is notably shown in the various phases such as activation,migration and enrichment and precipitation.Especially under the conditions of rich iron and depleted sulfur,gold shows strong pro-ferrous and gold mainly associates with iron ore.Under the conditions of depleted iron and rich sulfur,gold shows strong sulphophile affinity and gold mainly associates with sulphide.Under the conditions of rich iron and rich sulfur,gold shows strong sulphophile affinity and pro-ferrous.And gold mainly associates with iron pyrite(FeS₂).During the course of finding mineral resource,we can predict mineralization of gold mine and give a proper limit of ore body in terms of iron and sulfur minerals enrichment in the ore.At the same time,it also has significant technical and economical values on gold mine geological design,mine prospect economy evaluation and mine service life extension.
