RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-QUALITY STONE MATERIALS IN HUNAN

By analysis of the Tietrological properties and occurring geologlcal conditions of high guality stonematerials on the market in association with regional geology, the author suggests that the basic geological conditions are existent in Hunan for the occurrence of high qualitg stone materials. This paper mades a careful analysisof the problems of stone materials industry in Hunan, and also suggests that the geological investigations for stonewaterials resources must be put in action in Hunan so as to develop the high guality stone materials and marketthese materials as early as possible.
