MODEL TEST STUDY ABOUT FINE GRAINED TAILINGS DAM OF LONGDU TAILINGS PONE

The model test studies about the stability of fine grained tailings dam were done,the model was made at 1∶200 scale based on the design tailings dam of Longdu tailings pond.After model testing,the effect was tested and verified about setting geo-grid reinforcement,at same time,the dam broken models about reinforcement and non reinforcement were gotten,which was a new explore in the stability about fine grained tailings dam.
