Abstract
Researches on separation of valuable metals from red mud by hydrochloric acid. Under conditions of hydrochloric acid concentration of 2.0mol/L, HCl excess coefficient of 0.15, leaching time of 2.5h, stirring speed of 400r/min, The experimental results show that low concentrations of hydrochloric acid leaching of Fe and Sc from the red mud can achieve a high leaching rate, while Ti was separated, Fe leaching rates of up to 95.6%, Sc the leaching rate of more than 70%, Ti the leaching rate of 99.5%.
