Flotation behaviour of chalcopyrite and pyrite with calium hypochlorate and sodium humate combined depressants

The flotation test results of pyrite and chalcopyrite show calium hypochlorate and sodium humate both are good depressants for pyrite and don't depress chalcopyrite. And mixed depressants can depress pyrite better. Based on contact angle test dates, mineral surface wetting energy were calculated by Yang's evacuation, its results show the reasons of good depression performance of mixed depressants is the synergism of calium hypochlorate and sodium humate.
