EVALUATION AND PRACTICE OF ORE BODY CAVEABILITY

The caveability of orebody is an issue which must be determined first in feasibility studies onuncontrolled caving mining. This paper describes the evaluating method of ore body caveability and its applications at Tongkuangyu Mine, and discusses the influence of geological and rockurnechanical parameterson the caving per formance of No. 5 ore body.
