    Application of HC-95a ground helium optically-pumped magnetometer in location forecasting of buried Ore-body

    • The mineralized type outcropped in the target area is skarn type. The magnetites which can cause obvious magnetic anomaly are often found in skarnic deposit. In order to instruct the prospecting work effectively in the target area. We have mainly used HC-95a ground helium optically-pumped magnetometer combined with high precise GPS survey to the prospecting for buried ore-bodies. 17 survey lines which are 700 meters long have been finished in mine holdings. In the end, 2 magnetic anomalies (A, B) have been discovered in the western part. Anomaly A is 290 meters long and 50 to 200 meters wide, and anomaly B is 300 meters long and 100-150 meters wide. Both of them have certain scale. Two high magnetism physical prospecting anomalies were possibly caused by the mineralized bodies. This indicated a direction for the next step prospecting work.
