Study on evaluation index system and method of county mining economic zone inresource-based city:a case study of Panzhihua city of Sichuan province

Based on the characteristics of resource-based cities, this paper summarizes the previous research results by referring to the related theories of systematic and sustainable development, and it constructs the evaluation index system of mining economic zone in a county.The system includes three first-level indicators, eight second-level indicators, laying the foundation for the development of mining economic zone in a county.Through the example analysis, the development of mineral resources in five counties (districts) of Panzhihua city was evaluated and classified.The evaluation results showed that there were three counties in the five counties (districts) of Panzhihua city, belonging to the first-level mining economy zone in a county, and their mining economy was well developed.The evaluation results were in good agreement with the field survey, and showed that the evaluation index system and the method could be feasible, and played a reference role for evaluating the mining economic zone in a county.
