Analysis of the current situation and developmental countermeasures of gold resources in West China

Gold resource is one of the most important guarantees of the stability of national economy.Western China has superior metallogenic condition and rich gold resources.Identified gold reserve (metal) in western China has considerable proportion of identified gold reserve on national scale.Temporal and spatial distribution of gold deposits in west China manifests an attribute of locally concentration and zonation.During recent years gold prospecting in Shanxi-Gansu-Sichuan,Yunnan-Guizhou-Guangxi,Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,Tibet and other western China provinces had significant achievement.Gold prospecting in the future is potential.Gold prospecting in West China will undoubtedly change current strategic distribution of gold prospecting in China.It is expected that in the next ten years,the exploration and exploitation of gold resources in western China will take a leading role.Finally,suggestions be put forward for the future exploration and development of gold resources in western China,which include to strengthen the prospecting breakthrough of the key gold concentration areas,talents and capital-introducing,technology development and pay attention to ecological environment protection.
