Discussion on ore prospects and prospecting methods of deep and peripherals of Huangbuling gold deposit in the northwest of Jiaodong peninsula

Abstract
Located in the southwest section of Lingbei fault zone,Huangbuling gold deposit has a good potential for prospecting prediction.Prospecting areas includes Section I from Shengjia to Mabuxujia in Lingbei fault zone,which is characterized by argillic alteration of remote sensing and abnormal combination of elements As-Sb-Au-Ag-Cu.It has been suggested that geophysical techniques such as TEM and AMT be used in Lingbei fault zone to probe occurrence changes of the"main fault"and its secondary fractures on the hanging wall,according to the characteristics of the earth cover and the outcrop of the area.Section II is in Qilishan mining area.In view of the great extention of its orebodies and its argillic alteration of remote sensing and abnormal combination of elements Au-Ag-Cu-As-Sb,when "the second enrichment zone"is being searched in deep areas as a main prospecting direction,AMT measuring is suggested to be used in a typical section to probe fault zones and Low resistivity anomalies below-400 m,and to provide the basis for drilling engineering verification.Section III is in Fenghuangzhuang with abnormal combination of elements Au-Ag-Cu-As-Sb and gold mineralization points.In this section,large-scale structure and alteration mapping method along with tectonogeochemical sampling method should be used to search for the main fault andsecondary fractures of Lingbei fault zone which have greater prospecting potential,because of the widespread-exposed rocks and the apparent geochemical anomalies in this section.
