Situation and outlook of iron ore industry in Australia

In this paper, the author discusses the development situations of Australian iron ore industry for recent ten years, including iron resource reserves and exploration investments, iron ore outputs, major producing iron mines, consumptions and main export markets, industry economic efficiencies and international competitiveness. Based on these, the author makes a preliminary outlook for the development condition of iron ore industry in Australia for the future five to ten years.
