Research on experiment design for transfer chute of the belt conveyor

In order to select proper parameters of transfer chute and reduce the wear amount between the material and boundary of chute as ensuring material flow unblocked,this paper analyzed material movement and built the flow model of material in the transfer chute.An experimental design was carried out for the related parameters of the chute based on design theory and the better optimal scheme was obtained using the intuitive analysis methods.The results show that the number of dimensionless wear is the least when the radius is 5.5m,the entrance angle is 18°,the height is 3mand the outlet angle is 33°among the any combination of chute of the arc and the straight sections.
