A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR FUZZY OPTIMIZATION OF MINE VENTILATION NETWORKS AND ITS NUMERICAL SOLUTIONS

    • The objective of mine ventilation is to provide a safe and healthful working environment as economically as possible. This presently requires an adequate distribution of airflow to dilute and render harmless and airbome contaminants.Based on two kinds of classic nonlinear programming models for mine ventilation networds, the mathematical model of fuzzy optimization for mine ventilation networks is put forward in this paper. And a new approach,by which the analytical procedure and result for mine ventilation networks conform with the project reality so much the more,is obtained. Its numerical solution based on the direct scouting is also introduced. The program is simple and practicable, and calculation time is short. This model, solution and software are applied to a mine ventilation network, and the results obtained are satisfactory.
