    Study on drum lifting system of shearer based on genetic algorithm and fuzzy PID

    • Aimed at the conditions required of the coal mining and drum lifting system using hydraulic servo control is nonlinear and its parameters vary with time,a fuzzy adaptive PID controller was designed. Because the genetic algorithm has a good characteristic of global optimization,the adaptive fuzzy PID parameters are optimized using genetic algorithms,optimal controller parameters were obtained.And thus the optimal control effect was obtained.Simulation of the system was made using MATLAB/SIMULINK, Simulation results show that the control effect of adaptive fuzzy PID controller by Online Optimization of Genetic Algorithm has the advantages of short adjustment time,significantly reduced overshoot and small output error.The control performance of drum height is significantly improved,and it can better meet the application requirements of the system.
