    EXPERIMENTAL SIMULATION OF ROCK STRENGTH DAMAGE AND ITS ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECT

    • To understand how rock strength becomes damaged under acidified environmental condition and how this damage influences negatively the environment,simulation tests have been done indoor.The tests include the soakage of marble and diabase samples into static water added with different acids(H2SO4,HNO3,HCL)of different concentrations(1%,5%,10%)and the indoor weathering of these samples after soakage.Test results include the extent of rock strength damage and the quantity of some metal elements dissolved out from samples in acid water.
