Application research and establishment of evaluation index system for dust-proof measures in mining and excavating faces

Abstract
Since the dust capacity in mining and excavating faces accounts for nearly 80percent of the total dust capacity in coal mines,it means that taking effective measures to control the dust capacity in these faces is significantly important for the dust control work in coal mines. However, most of the indexes applied by the current evaluation index systems are qualitative, which have negative effects on the accuracy of the evaluation results. To tackle this problem, one way is presented in this paper to quantify the qualitative indexes in fully-mechanized and excavating faces based on relevant national laws and regulations,as well as the practical processes in coal mines.26qualified indexes were finally established and helped to improve the rationality and accuracy of the evaluation result. Moreover, the integrity level of dust-proof measures is determined by applying Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).Finally, the validity of this model is identified by using the actual dates in one specific coal mine.
