    Research into rational width of chain coal-pillar of shallow coal seam in Miaohagu mining area

    • For studying the problem of rational width of chain coal-pillar of Shallow Coal Seam in Miaohagu mining area,taking the chain coal-pillar of 5-2 coal seam in Anshan Mine of Miaohagu mining area as research object,this paper studied the width of chain coal-pillar using the methods of theoretical analyses,engineering analogy and similar material simulation.The results of this study showed:coal-pillar setting width was 12 m through plastic limit equilibrium theory.Different coal pillar widths were simulated,it was comprehensively determined that coal-pillar setting width is 15 m through referred result of engineering analogy.The research results create great social and economic benefits.
