Study on the models of geo-information interlibrary loan in National Geological Library of China

Interlibrary loan is a new service mode for readers in library and information institutions,and is one of the most effective forms of resource sharing.It should be widely publicized for such service by various methods to enable readers to understand them and to best meet the needs,so that the readers could obtain the necessary documents through the fastest way.Combined with the current situation of the development of information technology,this paper summarized the importance of interlibrary loan,domestic and foreign literature borrowing situation and problems,and put forward some countermeasures for the literature interlibrary loan in China such as mechanism perfecting,resource sharing and interlibrary loan propagandizing.Finally,the roles of the National Geological Library of China (NGLC) have been discussed in order to sustain the geosciences literature sharing in China
