    Theory research of buoyancy material for deep sea mining

    • In order to improve the space shape of deep sea mining transporting system and reduce the force exerted on the mining vehicle, this text puts forward to arranging spherical shell made of titanium alloy on the transporting pipe,which is filled with the high-pressure helium gas.Then,a spherical shell finite element model is established using ANSYS. And stability of the spherical shell is analyzed. The effect of initial imperfection and material nonlinear on the structure is also studied.And the results are obtained that analyzing the spherical shell using ANSYS is a kind of good method;material nonlinear and initial imperfection have an important effect on the limiting pressure of the spherical shell.
