Research on the properties and optimum match ore of lean iron ore in SiJiaYing Iron Mine

The mineral composition,the embedded character,the particle size and the technology type of lean iron ore were studied by means of the theory of processing mineralogy,the ore can be classified into three types:easy to disintegrate and easy to selection;easy to disintegrate and hard to beneficiate;hard to disintegrate and hard to beneficiate.The blending tests were carried out between the types of easy to disintegrate and easy to selection and hard to disintegrate and hard to beneficiate,which based on the actual practice.The results showed that when the proportion of TypeⅢ ore is below 36.3%,the technical indexes will be better.
