Progress on theory and technique of cutting blast in rock drivage

The utilization ratio of blastholes depends on the effect of cutting blast in rock drivage by method of drilling and blasting.Studies on cutting patterns and cutting blast parameters are of significance to improve cutting blast efficiency.The research status on theory and technique of cutting blast in rock drivage are reviewed.Present situations of theoretical and experimental studies on cutting blast are concluded.Engineering applications of cutting technique are summarized.The main contents are listed as follows:①Researche status of inclined-hole cutting technique are generalized.②Researches on parallel cutting technique in terms of empty hole effect,casting process,blasting parameter and cutting mechanism are summarized.③A new cutting technique named quasi-parallel cutting technique and its research actuality are introduced.Furthermore,some understandings to cutting blast for researching expectation are presented.It will provide a reference for the research on cutting blast.
