The future supply situation analysis of global cobalt resources

Cobalt has many good properties with many applications,and it is an important strategic mineral.China has been a great importer of the cobalt raw materials and in the future global supply situation is of crucial importance for China's resource security.This paper starts from resource status,reviews the cobalt production history,and points out the main factors which influence the production of cobalt.Then we make an in-depth analysis of primary and secondary resources supply on the basis of collecting and processing a large number of mine information,we also predict that refined cobalt output will reach 246 thousand tons in 2025.
