The economic carrying capacity evaluation of Henan mineral resources:Based on five major types

As a key development area in the main domestic functional regions and main provider of energy and raw materials,the Central Plains Economic Zone(CPEZ)plays a profound and strategic role in the national reform and development process.Henan is located in the core area of the Central Plains,serving as the main supply of mineral resources in Central Plains.The mineral resources industry not only supports Henan′s economic development,but also affects the development of CPEZ.By referring to related literatures,the paper evaluates the carrying capacity of mineral resources in Henan through applying the economic carrying capacity evaluation index system and model.In particular,five major types of mineral resources in Henan are specifically selected as the study sample,which are then analyzed in terms of resource reserves and available reserves.Finally,relevant recommendations are provided accordingly to improve the level of mineral resources conservation and sustainable development.
