Analysis of the exploration situation of metallic mineral resources in China

More than eighty percent of total non oil and gas mineral prospect rights in China are metallic mineral prospect rights, most of them are non-ferrous metal, but the investments of metallic mineral exploration are only ten percent of total investments, and most of the investments are made by the companies.The rare metal, scattered metal and rare earth mineral exploration investment is growing rapidly, the protection of lacked mineral resources is increasing.As faced with new opportunities and challenges along with ecological civilization construction, the structural reform of supply-side and development of high-tech industry.We should speed up the strategic structure adjustment, change the mode of development and utilization, increase the exploration investment of lacked mineral resources, reduce the dependence on foreign countries; increase the exploration strength and development intensity of the rare metal, scattered metal and rare earth mineral resources, stabilize the supply of resources, and ensure the safety of national resources.
