Abstract
In this paper, it can be get a more satisfactory indicators by the classification-magnetic separation process for the low-grade manganese carbonate ore, based on the characteristic that the mineral size distribution overly is fine, oolitic texture, and hard to dissociate completely. The contrastive tests were studied by classification-magnetic separation and direct magnetic with different feed size, and the optimal condition and flowsheet were determined. The final flowsheet was the ore crushed to -10 mm, the particle size classified into oversize and undersize of 1mm, the coarse ore separated by dry magnetic and the fine portion separated by wet magnetic. The results showed that the grade and recovery rate of Mn in the concentrate were 20.15% and 91.42%.
