The reasons of the recovery of the gravity concentration for a rutile mineral in Shanxi province

A 200t/d gravity concentration factory for rutile has been built in ShanXi,but because of the low recovery and the high cost,it has not been keeping.in basis of analysing the character of run-of-mine ore and checking the flowsheet,it is found that the run-of-mine ore′s grade is low,its dissemination size is fine/microfine,the rutile is intimately capsulated by gangue minerals which makes it quitely difficult to be separated,besides there are large numbers of sheet gangue minerals which impact the gravity concentract and the magnetic separation.Some rutile is been lost.All of that make the recovery be low.
