Effects on preparation of montmorillonite/polyproplene nanocomposites viain-situ polymerization

The results show that layers of MMT partially exfoliated and dispersed in polypropylene resin.The influences of polymerization conditions on the structure of nanocomposite are discussed.Lower prepolymerization temperature is favored and there exists optimized temperature considering of catalyzing activity.Molecular weight of products decreases as the polymerization temperature increases below 70℃.
