    The uranium mineralization character of Genduo area Zuogong county in Tibet

    • Genduo mineralized area is discovered lately by our institute in Tibet.The ore bed is Jiapila group in upper Triassic that sediment alternately by recede sedimentary tidal-flat facies,seashore facies and seashore outside shelf facies.The whole ore bed spreaded northwest,4000m length,0.4~13m large(thick),average 3m thick.The mineralization spreaded as floor and lens body,the ore bed(body) transition with wall rock gradully.There is 0.003%~0.855% uranium in the ore,average 0.02%~0.30%.We elementary think the mineralization are sediment cause and hydrothermal cause.The type maybe is granite outside touch belt type or sediment alteration type.
