The uranium mineralization character of Genduo area Zuogong county in Tibet

Genduo mineralized area is discovered lately by our institute in Tibet.The ore bed is Jiapila group in upper Triassic that sediment alternately by recede sedimentary tidal-flat facies,seashore facies and seashore outside shelf facies.The whole ore bed spreaded northwest,4000m length,0.4~13m large(thick),average 3m thick.The mineralization spreaded as floor and lens body,the ore bed(body) transition with wall rock gradully.There is 0.003%~0.855% uranium in the ore,average 0.02%~0.30%.We elementary think the mineralization are sediment cause and hydrothermal cause.The type maybe is granite outside touch belt type or sediment alteration type.
