PERMEATION AND CONTROL OF RADON AND ITS RADIATION PRODUCTS IN UNDERGROUND MINING OF URANIUM DEPOSITS

The source of radon,the passage and the pressure gradient are the prerequisites for the formation of the permeation of radon and radiation products in the process of recovering underground uranium deposits.This paper conducts a detailed study on the regularities of the permeation.Based on the research results,it is suggested that the ventilation network should be adjusted in order to control the permeation and dispersion of radon and its radiation products and ensure the underground stopes and the surface are protected from being contaminated.
