STUDY AND EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS ON DRAG REDUCTION OF COAL LOG PIPELINE

Based on the characteristics of coal log pipeline transportation the drag reduction of coal log pipeline was discussed.The vibration and some polymers were selected for drag reduction experiments of coal log pipeline.The experimental analyses indicated that the vibration failed to take effect for drag reduction of coal log pipeline and increased the pressure loss of pipeline transportation.The polymers were effective for drag reduction of coal log pipeline,and the efficiency of drag reduction was affected by the concentrations of polymers,the ratio of diameter of coal log and the aspect ratio of coal log.
