Analysis of the tungsten resources reserve plan in China

Tungsten is one of vital strategic mineral resources.Although the preservation capacity of tungsten resources in China holding the advantages in global,the tungsten ore exploration is increasing.Therefore the basis of China’s tungsten consume is too fast to hold the dominant position.On the basis of briefly analyses the situation of international and domestic tungsten resources,we combined the major problems during development.Meanwhile,we studied the necessity and possibility of tungsten land reserves and formed the basic idea for reserving plan.Firstly,prior to choose reserves scale(WO₃) upon fifty thousand tons large wolframite level in the aspect of ore types and size.Secondly,depend on the storage layout we should choose the orefield which have great resources potential,incomplete industry chain and government investment.Thirdly,the consumption of tungsten over next decade should be measured by domestic consumption and set as least tungsten reserve scale.
