Study on the ore flotation process of a neimonggu fluorite mine

In this paper, An investigation was made of the floatability and process flowsheet of a certain fluorite ore in Neimenggu.A fluorite concentrate grading of 96.79% CaF₂ and a recovery of 82.82% were obtained by processing using a single flotation flowsheet consisting of one roughing,one scavenging an d three cleanings in alkali medium with combining depressor of HS and modifier NaSiO₃ under cleaning conditions.The fluorite concentrate came up to the national quality standards of Class I products.
