NUMERICAL ANALYSIS ON TOP COAL MOVEMENT AND STRESS DISTRIBUTION IN MECHANIZED TOP CAVING MINING OF THICK COAL SEAM

Abstract
Through numerical simulation and analysis,the top coal movement and stress distribution in mechanized top caving mining of thick coal seam is revealed.In the interaction process of surround rocks and support,the roof beam suffers from loading and unloading experience.According to the control effect the top coal is can be distinguished into three parts along vertical direction,and according to the distribution of stress,displacement and broken zones,the top coal into five parts along horizontal direction.
