Research in modeling belt conveyor dynamics

Belt conveyor systems are becoming progressively longer and belt speeds significantly faster, and as these trends continue it becomes increasingly important to analyze the dynamic character of belt conveyors. This paper gives an overview of the research work done on the mathematical description of dynamics of belt conveyor systems till date and highlight the latest developments in the field .Finally it will give a brief discuss about the future of dynamic models of belt conveyor systems.
