Study on the delimitation of mining economic regions of China

This paper analyses the necessity of study on the mining economic region of china, illustrates the classification principles and methods of mining economic region; based on 17 metallogenic belts which are delimitated by the new round of the survey for the land and resources, and on the important exploitation areas of mining industry established by state mineral resources planning, it gives a proposal about the classification of mining economic region.
