The introduction of world CBM development

Statistics show that 29 countries have conducted coal bed methane (CBM) research and begun CBM exploration and development. The United States is the first and most successful country whose industry scale is the largest. Other countries like Australia, Canada, UK, Russia, Indian, Poland and Germany, these main coal producing countries,also began exploring and developing CBM and accordingly made encouragement policies and regulations to facilitate the development of its CBM industry. This article introduces other countries' experiences and provides experiences for our countries in CBM technologies, policies and management to facilitate further development of our CBM industry.
